Main topics: Mechanical movements, kinematic characteristics and laws. Basic laws of mechanical movement dynamics. Physical fields: gravity, electric and magnetic ones. Work and energy under the effect of mechanical and other physical forces. Harmonic oscillations, mechanical waves, resonance. Sound, noises and vibrations. Basic laws of thermodynamics. Transfer phenomena.Principal states of substance and phase transitions of the substances. Fundamentals of thermal protection, geothermal energy, heat flows – internal and external. Air impermeability of buildings.Heat accumulation.The energy balace of a building. Mollier diagram for humid air. Moisture and waterproofing. Glaser Diagram. Soundproofing. Reverberation time, coefficient of acoustic absorption. Graphic method for determining the sound insulation level. Airborne sound insulation. Thermoelectric phenomena. Quantum optics.
