The study of “Energy Efficient Architecture” discipline aims at improving the knowledge of building energy efficiency standards and of the enhanced level of comfort in the living environment. During the course, students become aware of the existing national regulations, the main points and working concepts. The lectures are divided into two parts. The first one presents various architectural and construction activities and methods for passive enhancement of energy efficiency. The second one presents the various active systems, their principal scheme and application in each particular case.
