The subject matter of the academic course „Reinforced Concrete Structures“ comprises:
Basics for the calculation of reinforced concrete construction elements according to the EU-2: bending, concentric and non-concentric tensile strength, compression, shear stress, covering the M and V diagrams, twisting. Calculation by Ultimate limit state (ULS) and Serviceability limit state (SLS). Calculation of unidirectional and cross-sectional reinforced-concrete slabs, main and secondary beams, columns. Beamless floor structures. Single and multi-storey concrete frame structures. Framework nodes. Structural systems for the construction of monolithic buildings, prefabricated and monolith-assemblage method. Structural systems for the construction of monolithic buildings, prefabricated and monolith-sectional method. Foundations. Seismic effects in reinforced concrete structures. Thin wall spatial structures.
