The course introduces students to the scope, content and the sequence and the requirements for the activities related to the implementation of the various types of engineering systems in buildings – electrical, plumbing, water supply and sewerage, HVAC and other kinds of installations. The main emphasis of the course is on the various types of installation networks, their purpose and their component elements involved in the construction of buildings and facilities; the main technical, regulatory and structural requirements for different types of installations and the principles for the design and sizing of the various engineering systems.
