Nature, scope and objectives of urban planning. Classification, functional typification and basic structural elements of the urban settlements. Topics and analysis of urban planning, development, zoning and technical infrastructure and engineering networks. Urban design – basic principles of the town planning, construction, street network, engineering and technical networks, types of junctions, squares, pedestrian zones, parking lots and garages. Territory zoning of urban settlements – residential areas, central areas and areas of public service, production areas, recreational areas and sports facilities, green spaces, etc. At the beginning of the semester analysis of the green area system is performed in relation to the park which is a subject of the task, representing the total concept of urban development of the park in the system. A detailed site development plan of the park shall be produced.
