Main topics: The course aims to provide students with knowledge of the functions, organization, and architecture of the most common public buildings (commercial, cultural, sports, transport). Having completed the course, students will master the morphology and composition of libraries, schools, universities, community centres, theatres and museums, administrative and business buildings, banks, bus stations and airports, stadiums and sports halls.Students will become aware of the significance of public buildings for shaping urban spaces: centres, residential areas and recreation ones, as well as of their symbolic role in the identity of the city.
