Main topics: The study program of the academic subject "Building Physics" comprises:
Mechanical movements, kinematic characteristics and laws. Basic laws of mechanical movement dynamics. Physical fields: gravity, electric and magnetic ones. Work and energy under the effect of mechanical and other physical forces. Harmonic oscillations, mechanical waves, resonance. Sound, noises and vibrations. Basic laws of thermodynamics. Fundamentals of thermal protection, geothermal, thermal tributaries (inflows) - internal and external. Air-impermeability of buildings. Heat accumulation. Energetic balance of the building. H-x diagram for humid air. Moisture and protection from it. Diagram of Glaser. Noise resistant system. Reverberation time, sound absorption coefficient. Insulation of air noise. Graphical method to determine the level of sound insulation. Thermoelectric phenomena. Quantum Optics.
