The subject matter explores issues that are specific to different styles. Attention is drawn to the social environment, which defines the nature of culture and architecture, the artistic criteria and composition techniques, typology, approach and proportions of the particular period. Emphasis is placed on the relationship between nature and architecture, as well as on problems of living environment.
Upon completion of the course, Students shall have acquired knowledge, skills and experience that have nurtured them as professionals with a broad perspective on the past of European culture and architecture.
