Main topics: Mechanical movements, kinematic characteristics and laws. Basic laws of mechanical movement dynamics. Physical fields: gravity, electric and magnetic ones. Work and energy under the effect of mechanical and other physical forces. Harmonic oscillations, addition of mechanical oscillations. Decaying and induced oscillations, mechanical waves, resonance. Sound and ultrasound, noises and vibrations. Basic laws of thermodynamics. Transfer phenomena: diffusion, internal friction and heat conductivity of gases. Real gases and phase transitions of the substances. Molecular phenomena in fluids. Electromagnetic interactions. Conductors and dielectrics in an electric field. Ampere’s law. Hall effect. Electromagnetic waves. Essence of light, interference, diffraction and polarization of light. Electric properties of solid bodies. Conductors and semiconductors. Contact phenomena in metals. Thermoelectric phenomena. Structure of the atom and the atomic nuclei. Irradiation and absorption of substances. Radioactivity.
