Main topics: Basic hypotheses and dependences in the theory of elasticity (TE). Types of stressed and strained state. Planar problem of the theory of elasticity. Planar stressed state. Theory of thin slabs. Basic dependences in the Finite Element Method. Solving the planar problem using the Finite Element Method. Subject and tasks of structure stability. Formulas of Euler for straight rod critical parameter under different support conditions. Method of the elastic displacements (deformation method) in the problems for structure stability. Subject and tasks of Structure Dynamics. Unrestricted and restricted oscillations without attenuation of systems with one degree of freedom. Unrestricted oscillations of systems with more degrees of freedom. Dynamic diagrams of the cross-section forces. Investigation of building structures according to the spectral method (in conformity with the norms for design of buildings and facilities in earthquake regions). Concept for modal analysis in the investigation of building structures under seismic effects.
